November Competition

The November Competition was held on 9th, 10th and 11th. This competition was our annual family Bendalong weekend and I’m confident to say everybody had a ball and is looking forward to next year. It was great to see such a great turn out of club members making the trip down to spend some quality time fishing with their families and mates. It was also great to watch all of the kids bonding and playing fantastically together and looking out for one another. The weather didn’t start so good for us on Saturday, overcast, windy and a little cool. But it sure improved for Sunday with beautiful sunshine, which saw alot of our fisho’s venture out chasing that big fish!. It is also great to see our ladies members getting out there and competing, well done. Unfortunately not all of us could catch a fish, there is always next time!

As John mentioned down there due to the number of people at Bendalong this year (being held on the second weekend of the month) we have decided to hold the Annual Bendalong Weekend for 2013 on the first weekend in November, which will be the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Please book that on your calendars now!

Largest Fish: Snapper 1.1kgs – Linda Burling

Flathead are the fish of the month and Liz Smith is currently leading the way with her 0.800kgs one, so let’s get out there and see if you can bet her!
