August Competition

The August Competition was held over 10th, 11th and 12th. The weather kept the deep sea fisherman from going any further than the carpark at boat harbour. With everyone staying onshore, it was still even a hard task to find a spot out of the wind. We had a few brave fisho’s out there trying hard and there were a few that even caught fish! A grand total of 3 showed up on Sunday to weigh their fish in. We had a small gathering at the weigh in but most people chose to stay at home in front of their fires/heaters (except for Darren and Nes who were running around near Bondi – they must have been lost?) Congrats to both of you on your good runs in the city to surf, especially Darren who was carrying a bag of pillies and a 12ft beach rod incase the tailor were on the bite when he arrived!
