The July Competition was held over the 6th, 7th and 8th. I have to say this particular weigh in was very interesting, with only minutes to spare, Mitch Cronin arrived with two Yellowfin Tuna and snatched the winning title from Jake Atkinson who had weighed in a 57kg Bluefin the day before. Thanks to Mitch, Jake and Jason who went out fishing on Saturday and caught Tuna, it was beauitfully cooked up on the BBQ at the weigh in on Sunday. I believe half of Gerringong is thankful as they have be treated with Tuna for dinner over the last week! Other good catches to note were Les Walsh’s bag limit of Dusky Flathead and Mitchell Cartwright’s nice bag of Salmon and Tailor.
